Two days at Parque La Florida. 154 people built agents with Claude to decompress the waiting lists of Chile's public health system. This is what came out of it.

Chile has a health system that works. The problem is it can’t keep up. The waiting list isn’t a bug: it’s a systemic gap AI can start closing today.
2.4 million people wait for an appointment, a procedure or a surgery. Some have waited over two years. — Minsal 2024
By 2035, 20% of the population will be over 60. The health system isn’t sized for that. — INE 2024
Most of the budget goes to emergency care. Early screening and chronic detection remain aspirational. — Minsal 2023
Not to replace the professional, but so a doctor, a midwife or a physiotherapist can reach 10x more people without losing quality.
Chile has hospitals, specialists and regulation. What it lacks is the last mile — so longevity stops being a privilege and reaches the 2.4 million waiting today.

Together with Caja La Araucana we modeled and understood the longevity problem. They have spent years driving health support programs in Chile and know the territory like no one else: from Arica to Punta Arenas — and even on Easter Island — they are already doing it.
It all starts from a shared dream: technology as the trigger for stronger, closer medicine. That knowledge and passion for purpose flow into the whole health system to solve the Lab’s challenges — with a real adoption path for the winning solutions.
Every team competes in the same challenge — Longevity for everyone in Chile — choosing one of three tracks based on where they want to act.
How do we keep people from ever entering the waiting list?
Smart screening, early detection, health literacy and chronic self-care. The quiet work that prevents the emergency.
Anonymized health data
2.4 million are waiting. How do we get people out of the line?
Clinical triage by real risk, matching demand and capacity, and longitudinal support for patients on the list.
The patient was treated. Now what?
Chronic follow-up, precision medicine and autonomy in aging. The post-care work that today has no system.
The Lab requires mixed teams. You need at least one health professional and one developer/AI expert.
Developers with Python, JS, APIs, Agent SDK and MCP. You build the agent backend and integrate health data.
Doctors, nursing, physiotherapy, clinical management, public health. Mandatory minimum: every team needs a health profile.
Creators with Claude Code, Cursor, v0 or no-code. User experience is your field.
Teams of 2 to 4. You register individually and form a team in the portal; the team leader submits it for approval.
“You don’t need to win for it to be worth coming.”
The goal: ~200 on-site builders in ~50 teams, approved by the committee.
Registration opens Monday, July 13 for all of Chile. First you register as an individual, form your team in the portal, and the team leader submits it for committee approval. These are the stages.
Registration opens for all of Chile at longevidad.benditaia.cl. You register as an individual.
Technical workshops for registrants. Free for everyone registered.
You form your team in the portal and the leader submits it. The committee approves ~200 on-site builders in ~50 teams.
Approved teams are frozen. The valid build window starts.
Parque La Florida. Two separate day sessions — you build at the venue and rest at home. Talks, checkpoints, pitches and awards.
You register solo and form a team in the portal; the leader submits the team once it’s complete.
Teams of 2 to 4, with at least one health professional and one developer/AI expert.
Registering does not guarantee a spot: the team leader applies and the committee approves up to ~200 on-site builders (~50 teams).
The best solutions win a real path to implementation. It’s not a trophy: it’s a health-impact accelerator.

Real tool use and an explicit policy for what happens when the model fails. He worked alone, travelling from Cabrero.
The best prototype without traditional code
The only submission that names the tool and what it was used for: Claude Code. And that its product uses no LLM at runtime.

The official Lab kit exists, it’s already in production — and you could win it. Builder tee, edition hoodie and the 3D-printed Claude Creature: pieces that aren’t sold anywhere. The only way to get them is to be there on August 5–6, building.

From leveling to the two on-site days and adoption.
So many people have asked to visit the Lab without competing. So we opened a special section for the public: join all the live talks, learn from speakers on AI applied to health, share with the teams and stay for the Demo Day where they present their solutions.
The Claude Impact Lab is Anthropic’s global program that brings builders together to solve real problems with Claude. This is the Health and Longevity edition in Chile, with Caja La Araucana.
This was Chile’s first Claude Impact Lab (FinTech edition, May 2026) — the same model now coming to health. 899 applicants, 48 teams, 12 finalists, 3 winners.
Caja La Araucana is the strategic partner that makes this Longevity edition possible, alongside the sponsors that believe in AI’s impact on health in Chile.
